Grandma has been making home made chocolates like the little elf that she is! About 20 pounds of chocolate, 2 gallons of maraschino cherries, and heaven only knows how many pounds of butter and sugar later...the wondrous things are finished and ready for all the family to enjoy. I told her not to make such huge boxes for everyone this year, and Maya said " don't tell her that about OUR box!" Everyone is looking forward to the annual treat. So if you come to our house and have a home made chocolate...this is the little lady that made them with such love. ( I refuse to make them because I can't resist licking the chocolate off my fingers!)
Matt and Maya went to see her and took her some beautiful flowers on her 83rd birthday. That's when this picture was taken in her "sexy" apron...that's what she calls it any way!
Happy birthday mama! You do look pretty sexy in that apron!
And thanks in advance for the Christmas chocolates I am going to get again this year! ( If Maya doesn't sneak them all!)

halloween in Lander
We went to see our favorite grandson for Halloween. ( I can safely say that now because he is our ONLY grandson!)
Doesn't he make a great Harry Potter? What a cutie he is, and so much fun. I can't imagine anything better than being a grandma. Really I can't! Being a mom was ( and is) wonderful, but the grandma thing has it beat. I love this kid double because I love his mom and his mom loves him, and I love them both so much sometimes it's painful. Plus I don't have to be the bad guy if he needs discipline, like I had to be with my own kids. So ...sorry if you have to hear me go on and on about this smart, beautiful, loving, athletic child...but I guess you can always log off!

Desert aerobics
Matt and Maya came to visit a few weeks ago, and I'm just getting the pics posted. We went for a little hike in the desert. Yes...we walked up the hill on the last picture and my butt was burning! It's a little like doing the kick boxing class at the rec center, I can't walk the next day!
It's always so nice to have the family here and share our beautiful scenery with them.
